Vote for your Favorite Bookmark Competition Finalists! 🎨

The annual bookmark contest is back and voting is open! This year, BookPeople challenged young artists all over Austin to design a bookmark based on their favorite books. Hundreds of submissions were received and booksellers narrowed them down to the finalists.

Now it's time for you to vote for your favorite designs in each group: Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade, 3rd & 4th grade, 5th & 6th grade, and Modern First Library category. The winners will have their designs made into real-life bookmarks, and distributed through our online orders, curbside service, and in-store. Voting ends on April 1st.

As we celebrate the creativity of young artists in our community through the bookmark contest, we encourage you to also check out one of Austin's authors, Hannah Devaux. Hannah's upcoming book, "The Big Book of Affirmations" is all about spreading positivity with the power of affirmations.
