"Thank you to the Miami-Dade Public Library System for supporting local authors. I never dreamed I would be doing a reading of one of my books in a public library." Said Author and founder of Bootstrap Publications Miriam Dorsett who previously did a reading at the Lemon City branch.
She continued, "I spent hours in libraries growing up. My mentor and big sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters of America would take me there because I loved to read. I loved to search the catalog and then go run and find the book! It was always where it was supposed to be. So nerdy I know, but as I'm reflecting on this moment I'm realizing that those memories are some of my favorites from when I was a kid."
Dorsett wrote the first draft of the book on December 6th, 2017 at 11:17 pm. It dropped almost two years later on August 21st, 2019. She advised other author working on their books "I tell you it takes time and work!"
