Book Signing: From Me, To You

On June 9th, 2022 from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm at Riverdale Country School - Lower School, Deidra R. Moore-Janvier will hold a book signing for her book titled "From Me to You: The Power of Storytelling and Its Inherent Generational Wealth". From Me To You is a sensitive, forthright account of America's slavery and civil rights movements aimed at young audiences. Event details are found below:

Date: June 9, 2022 Time: 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Place: RIVERDALE COUNTRY SCHOOL - Lower School 1 Spaulding Lane Bronx, New York 10471 Type: OUTDOORS event; with a 'Plan B' to have it indoors, on the premises, if necessary. Kids are permitted! Light snacks and beverages will be available.

About the Author

Deidra Moore, a single mother, left her job as a commercial real estate paralegal at the Manhattan firm TIAA-CREF after nine years to attend law school in 1996. Deidra began working as a Public Defender with The Legal Aid Society in Bronx County in 1999, after graduating from the CUNY School of Law at Queens College. Deidra left The Legal Aid Society nearly five years later to start her own firm, Law Offices of Deidra R. Moore, P.C.

As an African American mother, wife, and change advocate, Deidra embarked on a journey in 2020 to educate as many of our youth as possible about "the value of investing in themselves and learning about their history."
